You've heard of our Consultant Advisory Services (CAS) Program, but have you heard of our newest consultant connecting program?

The Clean Technology Initiative is the newest program of the Community Business Development Corporations in Atlantic Canada. This program was designed to reduce our environmental impact on the planet and save small business owners money.

We can connect small- and medium-sized enterprises with experts to assess clean technology solutions for their businesses and provide funds for up to 90% of the cost of the diagnostics. CBDCs can also provide up to $150,000* per borrower in the form of a repayable loan with competitive interest rates and repayment terms to help implement the recommendations. Clients will get ideas on how they can make their business more efficient and guidance on how to implement them.

The clean tech program is not just for those in the technology industry but for everyone who wants to move towards a greener business and make money doing it. We can work with a gas station or B&B who want to add an electric charging station. We can work with a convenience store who wants to add solar panels. We can work with auto body shops to make their processes more efficient. If any entrepreneurs** you work with could benefit from this program, please be sure to reach out to us for more information.

*Please note, in certain circumstances, CBDCs can provide financial assistance that exceeds $150,000 per eligible borrower.
**CBDCs are only able to assist businesses in rural communities.
