CBDC Labrador operates under the direction of a ten member Board of Directors, two from each region of Labrador. The Board is comprised of business a nd professional people who are in tune with the issues and opportunities of their regions.

The Board of Directors of CBDC Labrador are very knowledgeable about the communities they represent. With a variety of small business owners and managers on the Board, they are aware of the requirements of operating a small business and dedicated to the successes of the businesses they support. Many have significant industry knowledge as well, especially in construction, retail, tourism and hospitality sectors.

Brenda Way (Secretary/Treasurer) - Brenda joined the Board of Directors in November 2015. She's from Happy Valley-Goose Bay where she has been an entrepreneur for most of her adult life in a family business and continues to be self-employed today as an owner/operator of a financial services and tax franchise. Brenda has contributed her time and efforts to a number of organizations in the region including municipal politics, economic development as well as numerous charities and events.

Southeastern Labrador
Glenys Rumbolt - Glenys attended her first meeting of CBDC Labrador on December 13, 2016. She represents Zone 4, Southeastern Labrador. Glenys is the town manager of the Town of Mary's Harbour and has great knowledge of the community and region. She has an avid interest in the corporation's activities and provides valued input when reviewing loan applications. She has proven to be a valued member of the Board of Directors.

Sandra Rumbolt (Vice Chairperson) - Sandra's first meeting as a Director was November 2015. Now retired, Sandra worked most of her career at a financial institution in Mary's Harbour as a Branch Manager where she acquired experience in both personal and commercial lending practices as well as financial management. She has been an active volunteer in her region and feels CBDC Labrador is another way she can help her community and region grow and prosper.

Labrador Straits

Chad Letto - Chad first joined the Board of Directors in May 2015. He has spent many years co-managing his family's hotel, coffee shop and convenience store business in the Labrador Straits. Throughout his career, Chad has been involved in municipal politics and spent time volunteering at various tourism and economic development related organizations including Destination Labrador. He is well versed in both Winter and Summer Tourism opportunities in his region and indeed Labrador as a whole.
